The United Nations University hosts a wide range of academic conferences, seminars, workshops, etc., in the UNU headquarters building in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.

The excellent, fully equipped conference facilities at UNU headquarters include:

• U Thant International Conference Hall (capacity: 360-plus)
• Elizabeth Rose Conference Hall (capacity: 110)
• meeting rooms on the 5th floor
• a reception hall on the 2nd floor
• gallery space on both the 1st and 2nd floors
• an exterior area suitable for various cultural and art events.
